After a spinal fusion in 2014, I attended my first Yoga class. I had been a runner for most of my life and had to accept my fate while transitioning to Yoga was not an easy journey. 1n 2017, I quit my corporate job and decided to pursue my 200 RYT Yoga Certification at Spirit Yoga Studio in San Diego. I moved to Germany and taught English yoga at a shared studio and in the park with 2 other talented teachers. I traveled to Spain to continue my Yoga studies and recieved my 300RYT with a focus on Ayurveda and Yoga as Therapy. I returned to the US at the start of COVID and teaching limited private sessions.

Yoga has been my pain reliever, my sanity checker, and my place to just sit quietly. Even after years of practice and training, I am forever a student. There are some days I forget to breathe much less have the ability to touch my toes. I am imperfect, inflexible, and that is why I do yoga. My practice consists of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Yoga Nidra with Ayurveda therapy, the sister science of Yoga.
